Recommended B2B Sales Software

In the video I walk through the current tech stack I use to generate 9-18% reply rates for the outbound sequences:

Monthly tech stack costs ($120):

  • Domain/Mailbox Warmup and Email Sequencer – Smartlead – $29
  • Data and Email Addresses – Apollo – $49
  • Automations – Zapier – $20
  • List Management – Airtable – $12

Other costs:

  • Domains – circa $12 per domain per year
  • Mailboxes – Gsuite – $6 (per mailbox)
  • Email Verification – $30 per 5,000 emails checked

Below the video, you can find more tools and links of the software that I recommend.

Best for Domain/Mailbox Warmup and Email Sequencer

Smartlead

Use Smartlead to send cold emails that land in the inbox at scale.

You can connect unlimited auto-rotating email accounts and use the best-in-class AI warm-up to stay out of spam.

You can also manage all replies from a universal inbox, so no need to log into multiple inboxes individually.

Mailshake

Offers mailbox warming and sequencing.

Reply

Offers mailbox warming and sequencing. Plus strong integrations with CRM platforms.

Instantly

Offers mailbox warming and sequencing.

Best for Data and Email Addresses

Apollo.io

Apollo.io provides a foundation for end-to-end sales strategies by providing a data platform for built-in integrations.

It’s robust, yet simple to use. I’ve used it for dozens of campaigns and it has a great integration with Salesforce and other CRM’s.

In addition, the Chrome extension allows you to find prospects and either add them to a list or enrol them in a sequence.

Once set up properly, you can also include custom fields which allow you to personalise the outreach to each prospect.

Hunter

Simple to use email finder with chrome extension.

GetProspect

Decent list building features and chrome extension.

Snov

Great chrome extension and can enrol prospects into sequences from it.

Best for CRM

Pipedrive

Pipedrive is a deal-driven customer relationship management CRM solution that also works as an account-management tool with the ability to assist with marketing and the entire sales process.

Pipedrive’s proactive nature automatically tracks and organizes calls and emails and synchronizes schedules across devices.

One capability that might be especially attractive is Pipedrive’s ability to visualize the sales process from start to finish.

This can improve both efficiency and cut through a lot of second-guessing within teams, which is often the main reason CRM implementations fail.

I’ve seen Pipedrive being adopted quicker and more consistently by sales people than other CRMs.

Best for Productivity, Automation and List Management

Text Blaze

I use Textblaze to save canned responses / snippets of text that I can insert into emails or social media messages saving a lot of time each day.

Example snippets I have set up:

  • When a prospect is running late for a video call
  • When a prospect noshows
  • A reply to an introduction
  • To book a meeting using a meeting link

Airtable

Like a super-powered spreadsheet with built in automations.

Zapier

The "glue" connecting all your disparate systems together.

Gmelius

Very affordable Gmail extension with templates, snippets and sequences.
